Traveller’s tale: The photograph at first glance looks like a shot gone bad. But, the thick mist enveloping these woods couldn’t completely hide the bright orange flowers on this tree.

Traveller’s tale: During the days preceding the birthday of Lord Buddha (Vesak/ Buddha Poornima) and after, we saw these huge temporary murals and lanterns all across Sri Lanka. They carried images depicting his life, his teachings and messages of peace.
