Traveller’s tale: One of those hazy days when Delhi’s pollution levels were rivalling Beijing’s. The Hauz Khas complex was built and developed by two different rulers of Delhi (14th century onwards). There are tombs, meeting places, mosques and madrassas within the complex. Heritage walks are a good way to explore the place. Today, it’s an oasis in the midst of the concrete jungle and you can see greenery all around (including the waters of the tank). It was a pleasant spot but as the day progressed, the chattering youngsters who throng the place drove me out of there. More Info.

About We That Travel

Indulging in our memories of journeys far & wide. One caveat: photographic memories and tales to tell are a must. With the song from the Dixie Chicks playing in the background, hit the road! "Hit the highway in a pink RV with stars on the ceiling Lived like a gypsy Six strong hands on the steering wheel I've been a long time gone now Maybe someday, someday I'm gonna settle down But I've always found my way somehow By taking the long way Taking the long way around"
