Traveller’s tale: The carved wooden posts are displayed at the National Folk Museum of Korea. Their traditional role is to ward off evil spirits and thereby protect the village. Traveller’s tale: The traditional Korean dish made of fermented cabbage and other vegetables was one of the few vegetarian dishes available and was simply yum! 🙂

Trivia: Khimchi is one of South Korea’s national dish. The phrase (& post title) ‘In deep khimchi’  has an interesting story behind it 🙂
